We are seeking a Senior Manager of Platform Engineering to lead two critical teams based in Ireland: Platform Developer Enablement and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Reporting to the VP of Platform Engineering, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, driving our transition toward greater platform maturity. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution, ensuring our systems are scalable, reliable, and developer-friendly.

Having standardized our technology stack, we are now entering a new phase of maturity focused on developer self-service, extreme reliability, and advanced observability.

Key Focus Areas Unified Platform Strategy: Lead the strategic evolution of both the Platform Engineering and SRE teams to foster a culture of shared ownership and operational excellence.

Internal Developer Platform (IDP): Drive the development of internal platform services that allow product teams to self-service infrastructure needs, reducing friction and increasing velocity.

Reliability & SRE: Lead the team to achieve an internal SLO of 99.999% while establishing clear incident management processes and training Incident Commanders.

Process & Standardization: Create clear, repeatable operational processes and documentation that ensure clarity and efficiency across the team and stakeholders.

Observability 2.0: Implement a company-wide standard for observability based on OpenTelemetry instrumentation.

  Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Lead, inspire, and manage two teams (Platform Developer Enablement & SRE), fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Set clear goals, hire and develop top talent, and mentor engineering managers to build a high-performing organization.

Define the platform roadmap, aligning technical investments with business objectives and the broader technology strategy.

Champion DevOps principles, automation, and infrastructure-as-code best practices across the organization.

Platform Development & Operations Oversee the design and operation of the platform to meet the needs of product teams and internal stakeholders.
