Berger Singerman seeks to expand its Corporate, Securities and M&A Practice Group with the addition of a highly qualified and motivated attorney with two to five years of experience in corporate, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions matters. Work will involve the opportunity to take on increasingly significant roles in complex transactions under the thoughtful mentorship of colleagues skilled in developing innovative solutions for clients across the United States and around the world. Applicants must demonstrate sound judgment, as well as strong organizational and time management skills. We are seeking a highly qualified attorney with 2-5 years of comparable civil and commercial litigation experience to join our Dispute Resolution Team in Tampa. Strong academic credentials are essential as is propounding and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, courtroom experience, and engaging in all aspects of trial preparation. Strong organizational and time management skills are also critical. Qualified applicants must also demonstrate a genuine interest in, and commitment to, developing the skills necessary to litigate complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts and before arbitration tribunals in a first chair capacity. We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated partner-level attorney with jury and non-jury trial experience in both state and federal courts. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate litigation, business torts, officer and director liability matters, complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and insurance litigation. Candidates must have a portable book of business demonstrating both their current client base and potential for new business generation, with preference given to candidates based in Miami or interested in being resident in our Miami office.
