Clinical Opportunities at MainStreet Family Care! Learn More About Our Preceptorship Program! The MainStreet Family Care Preceptorship Program empowers you – an aspiring family nurse practitioner or physician assistant – to gain real world, hands-on experience and mentorship in a fast-paced urgent care environment. This program aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical clinical skills, preparing you to skyrocket your career in healthcare! Currently enrolled in an accredited physician assistant program or at least your second clinical semester of an accredited family nurse practitioner program. Passion for making a difference in rural healthcare. Physician Assistant applications are open year-round on a rolling basis. Family Nurse Practitioner applications are open three times a year: April 1-30 for the fall program, August 1-31 for the spring program, and December 1-31 for the summer program.
