We are an organization focused on making a positive impact in our community. Our organization is seeking an Event Marketing Assistant to join our team and help us raise funds for nonprofit organizations like Humane Society, Heifer International, and Doctors Without Borders. As an Event Marketing Assistant, you will work alongside our fundraising team to plan and execute successful events that attract donors and supporters.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and executing fundraising events.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and attract donors
Work with event sponsors and partners to maximize event exposure and fundraising potential
Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and registration
Support donor engagement and retention efforts through outreach and communication
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in event planning and marketing, preferably in a nonprofit setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
